Convenience Store Deli Supervisor Trainee

Convenience Store Deli Supervisor Trainee for a growing convenience store chain in Somerset, KY. Trainees often focus on mastering company- specific systems for ordering, scheduling, and controlling inventory, with the goal of becoming a Deli Manager. Learn to manage deli operations, including food prep, inventory, ordering and menu execution. Train, coach and supervise deli staff on equipment usage and company policies. Ensure strict adherence to sanitation, temperature logs, and health and safety regulations. Maintain high quality food displays and ensure food bars are stocked to maximize sales and minimize waste. Resolve customer complaints and ensure high quality service during peak times. Assist with managing inventory, labor costs, and reducing shrink. Must be capable of standing for long periods and able to occasionally lift up to 60lbs. Experience in retail, food service, or deli experience is required. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and decision making skills. Must have the ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
