Retail Assistant Manager (Experience Preferred)

Looking for a qualified candidate to further enhance our business. Our ideal Retail Assistant Manager is someone with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, who places high value on excellent customer service and maintaining a trustworthy relationship with owners, co-workers, and subordinates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring high-quality customer service is a constant priority. Retail Clerk assistant management should have encouraging morale, and effective communication partnership with Retail Manger, Kitchen Manager, and owners. Qualifications Proven leadership and management skills in a retail environment Excellent customer service and team management skills Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills for fair solutions in real time Efficient in POS system and cash register operations Capable of Inventory Management and visual merchandising of Retail Items Familiarity with electronic scanning devices, for converting physical document into PDF files Ability to constantly communicate with Retail Manager, Kitchen Manager and Owners Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring, training, and supervising Retail Clerks including motivating your team, delegating and monitoring daily tasks, and handling disciplinary actions, alongside documenting any employee issues. The Retail Assistant Manager is also responsible for keeping good communication with the Retail Manger, along with the Kitchen Manager and staff for efficient production of Special Tickets, Lunch Orders, Hot Box Items, etc., and minor administrative tasks. The Retail Assistant Manager, alongside the Retail manager and Kitchen Manager, are considered the owners ally and partner for achieving the goal of a positive work environment and shopping experience for every customer, no matter how big or small. The Retail Assistant Manager is required to have reliable mode of transportation to and from work. Professional and Personal References Required.
