  • Full-time Lead With Purpose As Thrift Store Manager you'll translate our mission into a retail experience that generates vital support for neighbors in need.
You'll direct store operations with a focus on sales growth, customer care, and consistent standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and develop employees and volunteers through training, coaching, and performance management Drive revenue through customer service standards, sales strategies, and local marketing efforts Oversee inventory flow, pricing/tagging processes, and strong store presentation Maintain operational controls, safety practices, and accurate reporting for the Director of Retail Operations Required qualifications: High school diploma/equivalent; 5+ years retail management/supervision Valid driver's license; POS, Microsoft Office, and Google apps proficiency Strong math, data entry, and communication skills; respect for Catholic teachings and SVDP mission Apply to help make a difference through purpose-driven retail leadership. Your Daily Rhythm You open to a lively sales floor and a back-of-house that can shift quickly-donations arrive, priorities change, and you keep the pace steady. You check dashboards and registers, walk the aisles for presentation, and connect with customers and donors so every interaction reflects our mission. Throughout the day you collaborate with your team, adjust plans for peak traffic, and stay hands-on across retail and warehouse spaces. As the store closes, you review results, note what to improve tomorrow, and leave knowing today's revenue supports real help in Baton Rouge.
