Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to achieve high performance levels. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift management to ensure smooth business flow. Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory control to optimize product availability and reduce shrinkage. Drive sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities aligned with marketing plans. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting while ensuring accurate cash handling and bookkeeping practices. Conduct employee orientation sessions and participate in interviewing processes to recruit top talent for the store team. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per hour, average transaction value, and gross profit margins to meet or exceed targets. Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing needs and manage stock levels to support seasonal demands and promotional campaigns. Lead training & development initiatives focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, safety protocols, and leadership skills. Skills Strong management experience with a proven track record in supervising retail teams and managing store operations effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers across diverse backgrounds; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, pricing strategies, and retail math to maximize profitability. Skilled in inventory management tools, POS systems, bookkeeping software, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and employee orientation. Organizational skills that ensure efficient stock control, merchandising setup, shift scheduling, and time management. Knowledge of retail marketing techniques including promotional planning and visual merchandising to enhance store appeal. Ability to handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping for payroll or inventory audits with accuracy. Customer service excellence with phone etiquette skills and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally while maintaining a positive store atmosphere.
