We're looking for a dedicated, hands-on Assistant Managerto help lead daily operations and ensure every guest receives an outstanding experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, loves building strong teams, and takes pride in great food and service. As Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside both FOH and BOH staff, coaching the team, keeping service humming, and ensuring high standards every shift. In this role, you will work several shifts on the line (FOH and/or BOH) and will have 1-2 administrative shifts per week. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and a positive team environment Work directly alongside team members to serve customers and provide an exceptional food service experience, maintaining food quality, cleanliness, speed, and hospitality Uphold and reinforce service standards through ongoing coaching and hands-on leadership Assist with scheduling, inventory, and ordering to ensure shifts are fully staffed and stocked Train new team members and help build a strong, consistent, and motivated crew Help handle customer issues with care, professionalism, and a commitment to hospitality Work closely with the General Manager and owners to support overall restaurant goals Qualifications Prior experience in a restaurant, ideally in a supervisory or shift lead role Strong leadership skills with a positive, team-first mindset Comfortable jumping into any role Excellent communication skills and a calm, problem-solving approach under pressure Passion for great food, great service, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation $25-$30/hour based on experience
