This is a full-authority role where you'll make real buying decisions, manage people, and keep operations running smoothly every day. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets Oversee daily store operations including customer intake, cash handling, and POS system management Appraise, price, and purchase incoming merchandise across categories including gold, diamonds, jewelry, electronics, and tools Manage and drive online sales through eBay and other resale platforms Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees to ensure they are equipped for success Manage scheduling and staffing levels to maintain smooth daily operations Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate purchasing to maintain optimal availability Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a team-oriented environment Handle bill payments and basic bookkeeping using provided resources Troubleshoot store IT and computer issues independently Travel to other company locations as needed for coverage and merchandise transfers Requirements Pawn Shop experience Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to appraise gold, diamonds, and jewelry using standard testing and grading methods Working knowledge of consumer electronics — functionality, testing, and current resale market trends Hands-on familiarity with hand and power tools including the ability to test, evaluate condition, and train others Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, and retail math to maximize profitability Strong background in retail sales, inventory control, and pricing strategies Experience in recruiting, on boarding, training, and supervising teams effectively Comfortable operating and troubleshooting computers and software independently Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time across multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Pay:

$18.00 - $35.00 per hour
