Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gas station and convenience store. You will be the heartbeat of the location, ensuring that every customer receives top-tier service while managing a motivated team and maintaining a profitable, clean, and safe environment.
Job Duties Include:
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and schedule a dependable team. Foster a positive work culture where employees feel valued.
Operational Excellence:
Manage daily bookkeeping, paperwork, bank deposits, and fuel inventory reporting.
Inventory Management:
Oversee ordering, stocking, and vendor relations to ensure our shelves are full and "out-of-stocks" are minimized.
Customer Experience:
Set the standard for friendly service and handle customer inquiries or issues with a professional touch.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the store meets all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including tobacco/alcohol sales laws and fuel safety protocols.
Profitability:
Monitor sales trends and implement strategies to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
Cash Management & Accountability:
Maintain 100% accuracy in cash handling, performing register audits and troubleshooting shortages; you will step in to operate the register as needed to ensure seamless customer service during peak times.
Operational Execution & Delegation:
Direct the daily workflow by delegating tasks to the shift team while personally overseeing the completion of all store checklists, fuel inspections, and maintenance standards. Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications Include:
Previous Gas Station/Convenience Store management experience. Has a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license. Strong proficiency in basic math and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong communication and customer service skills. Some experience with computers (able to complete daily paperwork). Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (for stocking and deliveries). Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and being "on-call" for emergencies.
