We're looking for a Store Manager in Cape Elizabeth to lead one of our markets. What You'll Do As Store Manager, you'll own everything that happens at your home market - from the guest experience on the floor to the people, product, and operations behind it. Lead the team. Partner with HR to hire and onboard staff, train your team in Rosemont's standards, manage scheduling and coverage, supervise daily shift work, and deliver performance feedback that helps people grow. You'll keep the workplace productive, respectful, and aligned with our mission. Manage the product. Run live inventory, work with our Buying Department to place and adjust orders, hit sales goals while reducing shrink, process invoices accurately with the Inventory Specialist and Finance team, and handle special orders from start to finish. Run the store. Set and uphold standards for sanitation, food safety, equipment use, and cleanliness in line with state and federal regulations. Spot safety concerns, report maintenance needs promptly, and keep the market clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. What You Bring Minimum 1 year of leadership or management experience in retail, customer service, or food service Hands-on experience with POS systems and inventory management High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus Strong communication and customer service skills, with sharp attention to detail and time management Comfort working both independently and as part of a team, and the willingness to give, receive, and act on feedback A focus on continuous improvement English language proficiency The Details This is an in-person role, carried out on-site at the Cape Elizabeth Rosemont Market location. Our markets are busy, public-facing spaces featuring groceries, baked goods, produce, prepared foods, and specialty items, with moderate-to-loud noise levels. The role requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends, set in coordination with the Director of Retail Operations. Occasional training and certifications may be required.
Physical requirements:
Frequent and repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs; bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching; standing for the duration of a shift; and periods of seated or standing desk work.
