Mopar Accessories Product and Custom Shop Quality Manager 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Auburn Hills, MI 48326 Stellantis 9,710 reviews Mopar Accessories Product and Assembly Quality Manager will be responsible for leading a team of quality engineers in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment. The main objective of the team is to deliver quality products and efficient processes for Retail Sales and Mopar Custom Shop (MCS) launches. All the products must meet Stellantis requirements for customer satisfaction, regulatory requirements and Stallantis sustainability.
High level responsibilities:
1) Prelaunch Phase (Retail & MCS) a. Product feasibility assessment b. Product validations/regulatory requirements c. Installation sheet approval for retail sales (part of PPAP approval) d. Production Evaluation Run (PER) Checklist assessment for Custom Shop launches 2) MCS Launch Phase a. Successful PER to open for order / approve production start at MCS b. Inbound Vehicle Quality
  • real time feedback of issues to Assembly Plant Quality c. Outbound Vehicle Rolling Containment/Release
  • 100% X1/X2/X3 and Job1 (all shifts and crews) until Containment is Released 3) Post Launch (Retail & MCS) a. Ongoing quality inspections & process audits on inbound & outbound vehicles b. Field Issues Identification

Issue assignment and management using
GIM/SIRUS
process d. Product & process lessons learned feedforward to future programs Successful candidate: . Self-motivated and driven leader/couch . Voice of customer in cross functional team interactions . Build good working rapport with up-fit suppliers and part supply base . Lead execution of new program launches: Understand the new program contents early in the program to identify risks and to implement robust processes proactively Enforce Production Evaluation Run (PER) readiness assessment process Effectively lead cross-functional team for issue resolution
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Minimum 10 years of practical experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing or quality with understanding of standards and procedures including: Outstanding leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent critical thinking Excellent communication skills Must be self-motivated, results driven, and able to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, PSO, PPAP processes World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience a plus MS Office proficiency, including presentation skills
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
