Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager at a leading quick-service restaurant specializing in delicious, high-quality pizza. In this energetic role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the store's overall success. Your leadership will inspire staff, maintain food safety standards, and optimize restaurant performance. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences and uphold brand standards Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to food safety regulations Supervise inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols Assist in shift management by scheduling staff, managing customer flow, and resolving operational issues promptly Skills Proven experience in food service management within quick-service or fast-food restaurants Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on hospitality excellence Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Ability to manage inventory control effectively and handle budgeting responsibilities Effective communication skills for staff training, interviewing, and team management Experience in kitchen management, food production, or culinary roles is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform shift management duties confidently Background in hospitality management or casual dining environments is a plus This vibrant role is perfect for energetic leaders passionate about delivering top-tier food service.
