We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dispensary Store Manager to work directly alongside the General Manager to help oversee daily dispensary operations at our Bay City location. This is a hands-on leadership position. The Dispensary Store Manager is expected to actively participate in daily operations while helping lead the team, support employees, and maintain store standards. This position works directly under the General Manager and serves as the primary manager on duty during assigned shifts. Why Green Pharm? Position Summary The Dispensary Store Manager helps ensure the dispensary operates smoothly, efficiently, and professionally each day. This role focuses on employee supervision, customer service, inventory management, cash accountability, compliance, and overall store operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, accountable, and comfortable leading a fast-paced retail environment. The Dispensary Store Manager will lead and support a team of approximately 10-15 employees while helping maintain a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture. Primary Responsibilities Opening & Closing Responsibilities Serve as the opening or closing manager as assigned Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately Maintain accountability for daily operational standards Serve as manager on duty during assigned shifts Daily Operations Ensure daily operational procedures are completed accurately Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards Monitor daily workflow and employee productivity Assist customers and resolve concerns professionally Support staff during busy periods Team Leadership & Accountability Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment Coach and support employees Conduct employee coaching conversations Document employee performance concerns Issue corrective actions and write-ups when necessary Communicate employee performance concerns to the General Manager Assist with onboarding and training new employees Help maintain a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork Sales & Customer Experience Support store sales goals through employee coaching and customer service excellence Help promote customer loyalty programs and company initiatives Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experiences Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention Inventory Management Assist with receiving and processing incoming vendor deliveries Work alongside the General Manager to ensure inventory is properly received and organized Ensure received products are prepared and available for sale in a timely manner Oversee inventory movement between the vault and sales floor Ensure products are properly stocked and organized Assist with inventory counts and audits Investigate and report inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory organization and product placement Cash Handling & Accountability Oversee daily cash handling procedures Verify drawer accountability and accuracy Assist with register balancing and cash reconciliation Ensure company cash handling policies are followed Maintain accountability for cash within the store Security & Accountability Help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers Ensure company security procedures are followed Report operational, inventory, or security concerns to the General Manager Help protect company assets through strong operational practices Hands-On Leadership Actively participate in daily dispensary operations Assist with budtending duties when needed Support customers and employees wherever needed Lead from the floor and help the team succeed Required Qualifications Previous experience working in a licensed cannabis dispensary is required At least 1 year of leadership, keyholder, assistant manager, supervisory, or management experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment Comfortable utilizing retail software, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer applications Reliable transportation required Must be at least 21 years old Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and meet eligibility requirements to work in a licensed Michigan cannabis facility Preferred Qualifications METRC experience Retail management experience Inventory management experience Cash handling experience Experience supervising retail teams Valid driver's license preferred What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Leads from the front Takes ownership of their responsibilities Holds employees accountable Maintains a positive attitude Communicates effectively Enjoys working with both customers and employees Can keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment Demonstrates strong attendance and reliability Arrives prepared and on time for scheduled shifts Can be counted on to support the team and maintain operational consistency Maintains a professional appearance and represents the Green Pharm brand positively Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to move between the sales floor, vault, and other areas of the dispensary as needed Benefits Competitive Employee Discount Program Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities Leadership Development Apply Today If you're looking for an opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing cannabis dispensary and make a direct impact on daily operations, we'd love to hear from you.
