Responsibilities Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems management. Manage inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff through effective employee orientation and ongoing coaching. Monitor retail math metrics such as sales performance, budgeting, and inventory turnover to optimize store efficiency. Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones while ensuring excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Supervise employee scheduling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to maintain smooth store functioning. Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with a strong background in supervising teams. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee performance management. Familiarity with retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, inventory management systems, and POS technology. Experience with budgeting, cash handling procedures, retail math calculations, and store financials. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery retail is advantageous.
