  • Friday 6:30 am
  • 8:30 a.m. / 3:00 p.m.

m. Additional hours vary on ½ day, no school days and school breaks between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned as needed.) Site Supervisors are responsible for the daily operation and implementation of the childcare program at their assigned site. This includes the supervision of site staff and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in care. Site Supervisors shall assist the Program Administrator in the following areas: Developing, implementing, and evaluating program and center policies and Managing day-to-day operations of the site, including being available to address parent, child, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner. Monitoring, supervising, and supporting site staff to ensure compliance with program expectations, licensing regulations, and district policies. Maintaining a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment for Ensuring compliance with Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules, Great Start to Quality standards, and district requirements. Supporting staff training, onboarding, coaching, and professional development Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by licensing, program, and district guidelines. Communicating effectively with families, staff, school personnel, and community Assisting with enrollment, attendance tracking, scheduling, and other administrative duties as assigned. Promoting positive relationships with children, families, and staff while fostering a welcoming and inclusive program environment. Job Requirements / Qualifications College transcripts Certification in CPR and First Aid Completion of fingerprinting in accordance with Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules and Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements for school Previous experience working in a childcare setting Completion of all required annual professional development Site Supervisor Qualifications Site Supervisor must: Be at least 19 years of Possess a high school diploma or In addition, Site Supervisor must meet one of the following qualification pathways: Option 1 Minimum of 6 months of childcare Completion of 6 semester hours, 9 CEUs, or a combination equaling 90 clock hours of coursework in child care administration, early childhood education, child development, youth development, or another child-related field. Up to 30 hours of MiRegistry-approved training may be used toward this requirement. Work in a center that participates in Great Start to Quality (GSTQ). Option 2 Minimum of 3 months of childcare Possess a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Montessori credential, Infant Family Associate credential, or an associate degree in a child-related field. Work in a center that participates in Great Start to Quality (GSTQ). Option 3 Possess an associate degree or higher in any field of Complete 3 hours of MiRegistry-approved training in each of the following areas: Program Management Observation, Documentation, and Assessment Teaching and Learning Complete 6 hours of MiRegistry-approved training in one or more of the following areas:
