Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Night Shift/Closer, where you will be the final face of our operation each evening! This vital role ensures the smooth and safe closing of our establishment, maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. As a Night Shift/Closer, you'll take charge of preparing the venue for the next day while delivering an energetic and positive experience to our customers and team members. Your dedication and attention to detail will help us uphold our reputation for excellence in the food service industry. Duties Safely prepare food items for closing, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, sales processing, and reporting Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers and completing end-of-shift reports Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and restrooms Conduct food safety checks, monitor food handling procedures, and ensure compliance with sanitation standards Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and stocking supplies for the next day Support customer service by addressing any last-minute guest needs or questions with enthusiasm and professionalism Perform closing duties such as securing cash deposits, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all areas are safe and ready for the next shift Experience Prior experience in food preparation or food service in quick service or fast-food restaurants preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and food handling standards Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math to handle transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete closing procedures within scheduled hours Background in restaurant operations or café environments is a plus Ability to work independently during late-night hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail Join us as a Night Shift/Closer if you're passionate about delivering exceptional food experiences while ensuring a safe and clean environment.
