This role supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations and ensuring all processes meet established standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has experience in cannabis or similar manufacturing environments, strong organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to support and motivate teams in a fast-paced production setting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Production Operations Support the Production Manager in daily production activities across multiple product lines, including vape cartridges, edibles, biomass, extraction, and pre-roll production. Monitor production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Ensure production equipment is properly operated and maintained by coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Quality Control & Compliance Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable state and local cannabis regulations, as well as brand partner quality standards and SOPs. Maintain accurate production records, including batch documentation, inventory tracking, and compliance reporting. Participate in internal audits and inspections to support adherence to regulatory and operational requirements. Team Leadership & Development Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and support production associates and leaders in adapting to new processes, procedures, and client-specific operational expectations in a fast-paced production environment. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive team culture focused on continuous improvement. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members, escalating issues to the Production Manager as needed. Lead team meetings and communicate production goals, updates, and process changes when necessary. Inventory & Resource Coordination Collaborate with supervisors and managers to maintain adequate supplies of raw materials, packaging, and production essentials. Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to prevent production interruptions. Assist in tracking production metrics and reporting data to support operational planning and resource allocation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Agriculture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 4+ years of management experience in a production facility, preferably within the cannabis, food and beverage, or pharmaceutical industries. Working knowledge of cannabis production processes and applicable state regulations. Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Valid driver's license required. Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks associated with a production environment. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age.
