Gameday Operations Manager

Job Summary The Royal Oak Leprechauns are seeking an energetic, organized, and hands-on Gameday Operations Manager to help lead the execution of all home game operations throughout the summer season. This role is essential to creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience at the ballpark for fans, sponsors, players, and staff. The Gameday Operations Manager will oversee the full flow of game day from setup through postgame breakdown, helping ensure that every area of the ballpark operates smoothly. This includes event operations, hospitality spaces, promotional elements, and food and beverage management. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead by example, communicate well with staff and guests, and take pride in delivering a high-level fan experience. Responsibilities Oversee all game day operational activities, including pregame setup, in-game execution, and postgame breakdown Help manage and supervise game day staff, including interns, volunteers, and other event personnel Ensure fans, sponsors, and guests receive outstanding customer service and have a positive experience throughout the ballpark Assist with game day staffing coordination, assignments, and troubleshooting to keep operations running efficiently Lead concession and hospitality operations by helping ensure stands and service areas are set, stocked, clean, and operating efficiently throughout the event Assist with concession inventory organization, restocking during games, and postgame breakdown as needed Help oversee cash handling and point-of-sale procedures across ticketing and concession areas to support accuracy and accountability Serve as a lead point of contact for game day issues and help resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Support safety and crowd management procedures by working closely with security, venue staff, and team leadership Coordinate with departments including ticketing, food and beverage, sponsorship, marketing, entertainment, and facilities to ensure all game day elements are aligned Help oversee ballpark presentation details, cleanliness, signage, and overall readiness of the venue Complete postgame reports and notes related to operations, staffing, fan experience, and any incidents or areas for improvement Requirements Previous experience in event operations, sports, hospitality, live entertainment, food and beverage, or a related field preferred Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage people in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills A strong commitment to customer service and creating a great fan experience Experience supporting staff operations, guest service, cash handling, and/or food and beverage service is preferred Ability to stay organized, take initiative, and remain calm under pressure during live events Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and all Leprechauns home games as needed Ability to be on your feet for long periods and assist with physical setup and breakdown tasks when necessary Passion for sports, live events, and community-focused entertainment is a plus Join the Royal Oak Leprechauns and help bring summer nights at the ballpark to life. Pay:
