Overview Join our dynamic team as a Convivence Store Manager/In Training and embark on an exciting journey to lead a thriving retail environment! Duties Lead daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and cash handling, to ensure smooth and efficient store performance Train and mentor team members on customer service excellence, POS (Point of Sale) systems, merchandising, and store policies Oversee employee scheduling, payroll processing, and shift management to optimize staffing levels and productivity Manage inventory purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a motivated and skilled team Supervise cashiering activities, ensure accurate retail math calculations, and uphold store cleanliness and organization Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and enhance the shopping experience Skills Strong leadership abilities with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery stores Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred for diverse customer interactions Proficiency in inventory management software, POS systems, bookkeeping, and basic retail math Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution techniques Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking across various responsibilities such as merchandising, stocking, and staff training Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development to foster a high-performing team Knowledge of retail sales strategies including pricing, marketing, and sales management techniques Organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control, budgeting, and administrative tasks Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure compliance with store policies This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in retail management.
