Job Description

At Marthaler Honda our reputation in the Owatonna community is built on craftsmanship, honesty, and treating every customer and employee like family. We believe in doing the job right the first time, taking pride in every repair, and creating a workplace where our team feels valued and supported. We are an auto-body shop dedicated to not only restoring vehicles but helping our customers through life's unexpected bumps and scrapes. The Impact You'll Make As our Body Shop Manager, you'll be the driving force that keeps our shop running smoothly. You'll balance hands-on leadership with operational oversight—ensuring repairs meet our high-quality standards, customers leave happy, and our team works efficiently and safely. Your leadership will directly shape our shop's reputation and success in the community. What You'll Do Oversee daily shop operations, from scheduling repairs to managing workflow for our skilled technicians. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers—providing estimates, explaining repairs, and ensuring satisfaction. Coordinate with insurance companies to process claims and approvals. Maintain quality control by inspecting completed work before delivery. Manage parts ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships. Monitor shop performance metrics and implement process improvements. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where technicians can thrive. What You'll Bring Excellent communication skills for working with customers, technicians, and insurance adjusters. Proven experience in auto-body repair management or a related leadership role. Organizational skills to manage multiple jobs and deadlines. Experience with estimating software (CCC ONE or similar) is a plus. Why You'll Love It Here A close-knit, supportive team where your voice matters. Competitive pay is based on experience, plus performance incentives. Paid time off and flexible scheduling options. Opportunities for ongoing training and certifications. Pride in working for a shop with strong involvement in the local community. What We Offer Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) and Roth options; employee discounts; and paid time off. If you're ready to lead a skilled team, deliver top-notch repairs, and be part of a shop that values quality and community, we'd love to hear from you.
