Job Duties:
Fulfill the Sandwich Artist job description. Monitor productivity and adjust employee hours as needed. Inventory and paperwork as needed. Complete coupon log, spot checks and post close reconciliation during shifts worked. Food Ordering as needed. Track food rotation in cooler, freezer and dry goods. Ability to successfully open and close the store. Ability to successfully complete a catering order. Ability to bake bread according to Subway® standards. Work with the Store Manager on covering shifts and cover shifts when needed. Maintain Subway and Health Department operational and cleanliness standards. Attend new promotional Window calls as requested. Cash-Handling Conduct on-the-job training for new employees. Monitor trainees to measure progress, update training log and training requirements. Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods. Assist employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their position. Develop positive working relationship with employees they are training to help adapt them to the stores culture. Job Specifications Knowledge, skills and abilities required for competent performance in the job: Proficient understanding of Subway policies and procedures. Leadership skills to effectively direct trainees and other employees and ability to properly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material. This position requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of Store Operations. The training area is one of constant change. This position must be able to react positively to these developments. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training. Job Prerequisites Must be at least 18 years of age upon promotion. Must have flexibility to work all shifts. Must have excellent customer service skills. Intermediate math skills to be able to count back change can reconcile money. Must pass a background check.
