This position will be located at 930 Wildwood, Jefferson City, MO 65109. Why you'll love this position: This position will serve as the Lead Hazard Reduction technical specialist for the newly created Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR) program. You will be part of the team building this program from the ground up. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay. Responsibilities - What you'll do Support program leadership and partners in understanding lead abatement principles and regulations Develop processes and policies associated with lead risk assessment and lead abatement activities forDHSS LHR
programs that meet both reuglatory and grant requirements. Perform lead inspections, risk assessments and write scopes of work for LHR projects Develop contracts for program needs Provide education to the public and partners on lead hazard awarness and lead safe work practices Perform inspections on active lead abatement projects associated with the LHR program Qualifications - All you need for successMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.) Be licensed or become licensed as a Lead Risk Assessor by the state of Missouri within six (6) months of hire date. Be licensed or become licensed as a Lead Abatement Supervisor by the state of Missouri within six (6) months of hire date. Qualifications for licensure are established in 19 CSR 30-70.110 through 195 Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
