Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Department Clerk, you are responsible for all daily clerical responsibilities for the cover department.
Essential Functions:
Update HR systems for attendance of all cover employees. Maintain quality records for covers. Assist with identifying and resolving shop floor error reports in cooperation with Cost Accounting. Update and distribute departmental unit reports pertaining to quality. Proficient use of standard office equipment such as a computer, calculator, telephone, fax machine, photocopier, etc. Understand company policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of Excel. Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions. Communicate effectively and professionally (both verbally and in writing) with others inside and outside the organization. Requires a very high level of attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to distinguish color.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Required to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. Requires the ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment. May require specific vision abilities that include close vision. May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time. May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight. May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours. #INDW3
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in an office environment is preferred.
