Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) with a strong background in hotel operations and sales . The AGM will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel while playing a key role in driving revenue, developing client relationships, and supporting the sales team . This is a leadership position for someone passionate about both guest satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Assist the General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. Ensure all departments operate efficiently and in accordance with brand standards and company policies. Oversee guest services to ensure high satisfaction levels and respond to guest issues promptly. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Enforce health, safety, and security procedures.
Sales & Revenue:
Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Identify and cultivate relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners. Conduct property tours and participate in sales calls and trade shows when needed. Collaborate with revenue management to analyze market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly. Monitor and report on sales performance, including group bookings, corporate rates, and promotional offers.
Financial Oversight:
Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and profit-and-loss statements. Monitor expenses and ensure cost control across departments. Help identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of hotel management experience, with at least 2 years in a sales or revenue-focused role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving guest satisfaction scores. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficient in hotel management software (PMS) and CRM tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
