Your leadership will help drive sales, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring all tasks are executed seamlessly. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates by providing clear guidance, training, and ongoing development to enhance performance. Manage inventory control through accurate stock management, ordering, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Supervise cashiering activities including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and balancing registers at shift end. Coordinate employee orientation, interviewing potential candidates, and participating in recruiting efforts to build a strong team. Oversee scheduling, payroll processing, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Support marketing initiatives by implementing promotional displays and merchandising plans to boost store visibility. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or a related field with supervising responsibilities; assistant manager experience preferred. Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory management, and retail math to drive business results. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and maintain positive customer interactions. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and administrative duties. Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, budgeting, and payroll processes. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is highly desirable. Ability to handle retail math calculations accurately for pricing and sales analysis.
