Meat Market & Grocery Store Personnel

Newly opened Meat Market and Grocery Store in Union Missouri is seeking experienced Personnel to meet their daily operational needs. If you are highly motivated and have relevant experience in the Meat and Grocery industry this may be the opportunity for you! Full and part-time personnel needed for: Full Service Meat/Deli Department, Hot Deli Kitchen and and an experienced Meat Cutter/Carver. Salary Based on Experience Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations within department. Operating and maintaining equipment. Assisting and serving customers. Inventory management and ordering product. Labeling, packaging, merchandising and stocking. Product rotation, shrinkage control, minimize waste. Sanitation and food safety. Quality control.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a retail or wholesale environment. Effective communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service. Knowledge of techniques and best practices to achieve desired results. An understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Certification in food handling and safety would be helpful.

Working Conditions:

Work environment may involve exposure to cold temperatures, sharp equipment, heavy lifting, and frequent bending and twisting. Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. May involve working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment during peak business hours.

Pay:

$16.00 - $30.00 per hour
