This role is responsible for leading the sales floor, managing daily operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Shades is a specialty retailer offering premium sunglasses and casual southern apparel , including brands like Ray-Ban, Costa, Maui Jim, Oakley, Vineyard Vines, Southern Marsh, Old Row, Burlebo , and more. About Shades Founded in 2004, Shades is a growing retail company with 10 stores across Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana . We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service, a fast-paced environment, and strong opportunities for career growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a retail team to deliver excellent customer service Oversee daily store operations and staff performance Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving Drive sales through scheduling, forecasting, and floor leadership Execute visual merchandising standards Meet sales goals and operational performance metrics Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-focused store Requirements 3+ years of retail management experience 2+ years of customer service experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience 401(k) with company match Health insurance Paid time off Employee discount Flexible scheduling
