Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a comprehensive understanding of retail processes, and the ability to motivate and develop staff. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, working inside collections, and supporting store growth through effective merchandising and marketing strategies. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and supervise retail staff, providing training & development to enhance team performance Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales Handle customer service issues with professionalism and effective communication skills Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees Maintain accurate payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures Implement pricing strategies and sales promotions to meet sales targets Utilize POS systems for transactions, returns, and inventory management Support marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and customer engagement Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations Experience Proven management experience in retail with supervisory responsibilities (Not Food Service Management) Strong background in retail sales, inventory management, and customer service Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and training & development Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Experience with sales, merchandising, marketing, and collections is desirable This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a reputable retail organization while leading a dedicated team.
