Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team! In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Duties Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing. Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Support marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to boost store visibility. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and employee training & development. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles. Demonstrated leadership with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff. Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll, and cash handling. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
