Job Description

Main responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service. Train, schedule, and supervise produce clerks. Achieve department financial goals and manage budget. Address and resolve customer complaints professionally. Execute weekly merchandising and marketing plans. Perform inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels. Forecast weekly sales and track purchases. Support corporate/division initiatives. Assist customers with product selection. Inspect code-dated items for freshness. Write department schedule based on forecasts. Follow country-of-origin labeling requirements. Remove outdated produce and maintain freshness. Provide product info, samples, and promote sales. Receive deliveries, build displays, rotate stock. Transport produce using equipment. Prepare produce for crisping. Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Manage price accuracy and signage. Clean display and backroom areas. Conduct temperature checks twice daily. Adhere to uniform and grooming standards. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Soft skills : Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and eager to grow product knowledge. Ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge :
Company guidelines, policies, and procedures. Produce handling, freshness standards, and rotation. Food safety and sanitation regulations. Country-of-origin labeling requirements. Workplace conduct and attendance standards.
Abilities :
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull product. Ability to stand and walk continuously. Ability to work varying schedules. Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and gripping.
