Produce Manager

Main responsibilities:

Provide high-quality customer service. Train, schedule, and supervise produce clerks. Achieve department financial goals and manage budget. Address and resolve customer complaints professionally. Execute weekly merchandising and marketing plans. Perform inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels. Forecast weekly sales and track purchases. Support corporate/division initiatives. Assist customers with product selection. Inspect code-dated items for freshness. Write department schedule based on forecasts. Follow country-of-origin labeling requirements. Remove outdated produce and maintain freshness. Provide product info, samples, and promote sales. Receive deliveries, build displays, rotate stock. Transport produce using equipment. Prepare produce for crisping. Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Manage price accuracy and signage. Clean display and backroom areas. Conduct temperature checks twice daily.
