  • Lead engineering activity within the Controls department, including design, programming, testing, standards, procedures, and execution.
  • Provide direction on control system architecture, documentation, and software architecture.
  • Manage department workload, staffing assignments, schedules, project progress, and resource planning.
  • Support control panel design, PLC programming, testing, field commissioning, and start-up when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement, Lean, 5S, visual management, KPIs, and department performance.
  • Partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to meet customer commitments.
  • Coach, train, develop, and hold team members accountable while building a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, UL standards, safety practices, and company procedures.
πŸŽ“ What We're Looking For βœ” Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. βœ” Strong controls, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, technical assembly, and PLC programming background. βœ” Experience with IDEC, Allen Bradley, GE, JCI, Carrier, Robert Shaw, Landis & Gyr, CSI, or similar systems. βœ” Knowledge of UL standards, electrical codes, control panels, and safety requirements. βœ” Strong leadership, planning, communication, and decision-making skills. βœ” Experience managing people, schedules, performance, and cross-functional priorities. βœ” Familiarity with CAD, MS Office, and manufacturing systems. ⚠️ Experienced candidates only.
