The Assistant Shop Manager at Quick Lube Carolina LLC supports the Shop Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, customer satisfaction, and team leadership within our fast-paced automotive maintenance environment.
Responsibilities:
•Assist the Shop Manager in overseeing all aspects of shop operations, including service bay management, customer intake, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Train, supervise, and motivate service technicians and other shop staff to maintain high standards of quality and productivity. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive customer service experience. Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage vendor relationships. Assist with scheduling, timecard approvals, and other administrative tasks as needed. Contribute to achieving sales goals and operational targets. Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance services when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or trade school certification in automotive technology preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an automotive service environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proven leadership abilities and experience in team management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
