Job Description

Locally owned Outer Banks Olive Oil Company is seeking a full time, year round Store Manager for our location in Duck. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and driven to achieve the overall company goals. We are looking for an experienced, sales minded, big picture person and can begin training immediately. Sales Bonuses in additional to listed pay for sales driven managers. Paid time off and 401K/IRA company matching. Duties and Responsibilities Organizing and supervising all the daily activities Training and managing employees, maintaining correct amount of staff through various season/holidays Overseeing the inventory of the store and accordingly placing replenishment orders. Strategizing and planning the achievement of organizational goals and objectives for the store Organizing training activities. Supervise and participate in the coaching of sales personnel to provide maximum sales and customer service excellence Delivery of items between stores. Planning events and promotional campaigns for boosting sales Evaluating and surveying the market and incorporating new ideas and plans Evaluating the performance and work of the subordinates. Delegating tasks and responsibilities to the employees of the store. Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards Implementing marketing and other promotional plans Drive traffic through local events and ideas, partnerships to bring brand awareness Maintaining the stores clean and attractive environment Supervise merchandising in a creative and attractive way Some financial responsibilities Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Must be available nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements
  • Retail store management experience
  • Knowledge, experience in the food industry
  • A passion for good food and cooking
  • Strong selling, customer service and management experience required.
  • Enjoys working with customers, is sales directed and committed to excellent customer service
  • Successful track record of setting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives
  • Excellent communication skills-verbal & written, problem solving, motivating and delegating skills.
  • Creative and looking for a challenge to bring a vision to life
  • Work schedule will include evenings, weekends & holidays
Benefits:

Compensation:
$40,000
