Job Description

Educational Requirements:
Min. Associate Degree in Engineering or related field .
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5-year experience in manufacturing environment. Familiarity with the Automotive Industry a plus .
Description of Duties:
Reviews all company MRP inputs (releases) and outputs (supplies, schedules etc) and reacts accordingly to all production departments. Provides daily leadership to all production department leads. Issues and revises any and all production work instructions necessary to complete the job. Responsibility to assure production schedules , efficiencies and other production department goals are achieved and maintained. Works directly with the tooling department to prioritize die repairs according to customer needs as appropriate. Conduct daily morning meetings with department leads. Responsible for all production trial and PPAP runs. Participates in management review and reports on items related to his / her department. Provides on the job training and evaluation of production leads. Performs all production department employee reviews as required. Responsible for production area safety policy adherence and discipline. Other duties as assigned.
