Job Description

Locally owned Outer Banks Olive Oil Company is seeking a full time, year round Store Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and driven to achieve the overall company goals. We are looking for an experienced, sales minded, person and can begin training immediately. Paid time off and 401K/IRA company matching. $18
  • 22 per hour including tips and performance bonuses Duties and Responsibilities Managing employees , organizing and supervising all the daily activities Being a team player and supportive of management to create a positive work enviroment for all staff.
Overseeing the inventory of the store and accordingly placing replenishment orders. Supervise and participate in the coaching of sales personnel to provide maximum sales and customer service excellence Delegating tasks and responsibilities to the employees of the store. Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards Implementing marketing and other promotional plans Maintaining the stores clean and attractive environment Supervise merchandising in a creative and attractive way Requirements
  • -Knowledge, experience in the retail industry
  • A passion for gourmet foods, wine, craft beer, cheeses, cigars and olive oils
  • Strong selling, customer service and management experience desired.
  • Enjoys working with customers, is sales directed and committed to excellent customer service
  • Successful track record of setting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives
  • Excellent communication skills-verbal & written, problem solving, motivating and delegating skills.
  • Mindful and wanting to create a positive work environment.
  • Work schedule will include evenings, weekends & holidays. Must be flexible.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
