Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high productivity and morale Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management Manage inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews, and ongoing training to foster professional growth and ensure team readiness Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for all visitors Monitor sales data, retail math metrics, budgeting processes, and payroll to optimize operational efficiency Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple shifts Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated expertise in retail sales management, merchandising, marketing, and store operations Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math calculations, pricing strategies, and stock control Ability to manage time efficiently while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; leadership qualities are essential Join us as we strive to deliver outstanding service while fostering a vibrant team environment.
