Salary Range:
$70,000 to $95,000 The Retail Banking Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership for retail branch operations and sales activities across multiple assigned locations. This role serves as the primary on-site leader for branches in Fargo, Moorhead, Grand Forks, West Fargo, Edina, and Sioux Falls, ensuring consistent customer service, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective execution of sales and growth initiatives. The Supervisor balances people leadership, operational oversight, and sales leadership to drive branch performance and a positive customer experience. This position is based in Fargo, North Dakota, and is designed for candidates residing in or near the Fargo metro area. The role requires regular presence across assigned branches, with travel as needed to support team development, operations, and performance consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily retail branch operations across assigned locations to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-controlled execution of banking activities. Hire, coach, develop, schedule, and manage branch retail staff; oversee performance management, training, and recognition. Drive execution of bank-wide sales campaigns and referral initiatives; coach staff toward growth and performance goals. Model and enforce exceptional customer service standards; manage workflow, staffing levels, and resolution of escalated customer issues. Ensure adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, cash controls, audit standards, and risk management practices across all assigned branches. Assist customers with transactions, consumer and business account opening, consumer loans, account maintenance, and product recommendations as needed. Promote branch growth and a positive culture by modeling ethical, customer-focused leadership and partnering with branch and regional leadership.
