Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development Manage payroll, cash handling, bookkeeping, and budgeting to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store visibility Maintain inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering, and stock rotation Ensure compliance with safety standards, POS procedures, and company policies while fostering a safe shopping environment Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team leadership Experience with retail math, sales management, inventory control, and POS systems Demonstrated success in recruiting, training & development, merchandising, and marketing strategies Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales is preferred Organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently
