Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Store Manager - In Training. This entry-level leadership role offers a comprehensive pathway to develop essential management skills in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Store Manager - In Training, you will gain hands-on experience in daily store operations, team supervision, customer service excellence, inventory control, and sales management. Duties Assist with daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service Support the management team in supervising staff, including training new employees and overseeing shift activities Participate in employee orientation, interviewing potential candidates, and recruiting efforts to build a strong team Manage inventory levels through stock ordering, merchandising, pricing, and inventory control procedures Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and store visibility Oversee cashiering duties, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies Implement store policies related to safety, cleanliness, and organization while maintaining compliance with company standards Assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative responsibilities such as scheduling and record keeping Support management in budgeting activities and sales management strategies to meet store goals Experience Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery stores preferred but not required Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and bookkeeping Experience with retail math for pricing, sales analysis, and budgeting purposes Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales processes Proven ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment Experience in customer service roles that involve phone etiquette and conflict resolution is advantageous Join us as we empower you to grow into a confident leader! Pay:
$49,859.61 - $60,045.98 per year
