  • Newton, NJ Hampton Body Works in Newton, NJ is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of our collision repair facility.
The Manager is responsible for ensuring high‑quality repairs, exceptional customer service, and an efficient, well‑organized workflow. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily body shop operations, ensuring repairs meet quality standards , time schedules , and productivity goals Direct and support body shop technicians and staff, maintaining a positive, accountable work environment Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates and supplements Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies to secure proper repair authorizations Maintain strong customer communication, clearly explaining the repair process and providing timely updates Ensure compliance with safety procedures, shop policies, and industry best practices Monitor parts ordering, workflow, and job status to keep repairs moving efficiently Uphold Hampton Body Works' long-standing reputation for honesty, quality, and professionalism Qualifications Prior experience in collision repair management, estimating, or shop leadership Strong understanding of body repair processes, insurance procedures, and estimating platforms Excellent communication and customer service skills High level of trustworthiness , time management , and attention to detail Ability to lead a team, solve problems proactively, and maintain a smooth workflow Commitment to delivering quality results and maintaining our reputation for excellence What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and can confidently manage both people and processes.
