Overview We are seeking an experienced Video Department Supervisor to lead our video equipment operations at our Parsippany warehouse. In this supervisory role, you will manage the flow and delegation of duties related to order fulfillment, quality control, and inventory management. You will ensure that all video equipment is properly prepped, packed, and deployed for client events. This is a leadership position where you'll work directly with the Warehouse Manager to set strategic direction for the department while maintaining hands-on expertise in video systems and equipment handling. Core Responsibilities
- Lead and delegate duties for order fulfillment, establishing efficient workflows and ensuring timely delivery of video equipment to events
- Direct the preparation, packaging, and inspection of all video department orders before deployment.
- Conduct quality checks on department workflows to verify that orders are processed accurately and align with Panavid's established benchmarks
- Oversee the physical inventory of video assets, utilizing software to ensure all records reflect real-time equipment availability
- Scan Asset IDs to complete order fulfillment and returns processes
- Mentor and develop video technicians and QC staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on departmental strategy, budget planning, and operational improvements
- Monitor and report on departmental performance metrics including order fulfillment times, error rates, and equipment status QualificationsExperience
- 5 years of experience in video equipment rental or AV warehouse operations
- 2 years of supervisory or lead experience managing teams and delegating responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in video systems, equipment handling, and proper storage protocols Technical Skills
- Proficiency in UBS R2 or similar ERP/inventory management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Knowledge of video equipment types, cabling, power systems, and troubleshooting basics
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain Core Competencies
