Assistant Store Manager

Summary:

Leading by example, assistant managers oversee training and perform duties of team members. Provides exceptional customer, holds the team accountable and keeps the shop running smoothly by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

(Other duties may be assigned.) 1. Open and close the shop on time based on The Baked Bear operations guidelines. 2. Close down the register at the end of the night, balance drawer, make deposit, create change order and record petty cash over/under. 3. Works the front of the house and line with the team - Greets customers in a courteous manner as they enter the store. Applies knowledge of the Baked Bear products and assists customers through the ordering process. Takes orders and prepares menu items promptly and in accordance with customer requests. Operates the POS system and cash register properly with each transaction. 4. Bakes cookies according to store procedures and par sheets. 5. Communicated with GM when things need to be fixed or replaced. 6. Helps train new hires. 7. Trained on placing orders for Sysco and Ed Don. 8. Responsible for keeping the shop well stocked, clean and ensure that deep cleaning is being followed. 9. Assists with store organization and inventory rotation. 10. Adheres to all company policies in a professional and timely manner. 11. Maintain company processes and help continued team development and sign offs. 12. Applies knowledge of food handling requirements. 13. Possess a food handlers card or attend an in-house food handlers class and pass the test.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in an exemplary fashion. You must be professional, punctual, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills. You must be comfortable delegating and willing to take on additional responsibly.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
