This is a full-time position that is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of a single site location. The position reports to the Operations Manager. Store Managers are expected to work up to 40 hours per week. Hours of Operation for this location are Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Columbia Storage Group is a fast growing company that offers competitive wages, a great work/life balance, and career and development opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lease-up and maintain optimal occupancy levels by actively seeking and converting new tenants. Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone inquiries, conducting property tours, and maintaining strong communication with both current and potential customers. Possess a deep understanding of unit availability, pricing, and local market conditions to respond to inquiries effectively. Sell and manage retail items, ensuring accurate inventory records. Maintain detailed tenant records and conduct daily lock checks Control delinquencies and manage accounts receivable to keep collections to an absolute minimum. Handle general office duties, including balancing petty cash, making bank deposits, and preparing periodic reports. Ensure the property is well-maintained, clean and safe. Collaborate with contractors and third-party vendors as needed. Education & Experience HS Diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation Strong computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Customer service experience required Self-storage experience preferred but not required Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep Completion of pre-employment background screening (criminal and MVR only) Compensation Paid time off (applicable after 6 months); Sick time; paid Holidays Competitive hourly pay with additional quarterly bonus for unit rental and sales of services Affordable health benefits option and 401(k) match plan Career advancement opportunities at a stable and growing company Training and development Mileage reimbursement for business related activates
