Village Super Market is seeking a strong, high-energy Deli Field Merchant to support deli and prepared foods performance across multiple store locations. Role:

The Deli Field Merchant partners with store operations and merchandising leadership to drive sales, merchandising execution, food safety, customer experience, and operational performance across multiple locations. This role is ideal for experienced deli leaders, fresh foods managers, assistant store managers, or multi-unit operators looking to step into a broader field leadership position.

What You'll Do:

Coach and develop deli and prepared foods teams across multiple locations Drive consistent execution of merchandising, food safety, and operational standards across all locations. Deliver sales growth, control shrink, and optimize labor to improve overall profitability Partner with store leadership to improve performance and customer experience Execute seasonal programs, promotions, and merchandising initiatives Help build a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For:

Experience leading deli, prepared foods, foodservice, or fresh foods teams in a retail environment Strong operational, merchandising, and food safety knowledge Proven ability to coach teams, drive execution, and improve results Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations in a fast-paced environment
