Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to help lead the daily operations of SafeSplash Swim School Voorhees. In this role, you will support the General Manager, lead a team of swim instructors and front desk staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for every family we serve. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about working with kids and families, excited to coach a team, and ready to grow into greater responsibility over time. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the swim school, including class schedules, instructor assignments, and guest services Lead and motivate swim instructors and front desk staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a positive team culture Recruit, interview, onboard, and schedule team members to ensure strong coverage during peak evening and weekend hours Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing parent and guest inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a great experience for every family Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures on deck and throughout the facility to guarantee guest and staff safety at all times Support student progression tracking, class placements, and make-up scheduling Assist with payroll prep, timekeeping, and general administrative follow-through Handle billing inquiries and manage point-of-sale and scheduling systems accurately Maintain accurate records including attendance logs, incident reports, and operational notes for management review Help manage retail inventory, ordering, and facility readiness Manage the swim school's social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) that highlights student milestones, promotions, and community stories to drive enrollment and brand awareness Represent SafeSplash Voorhees at local community events, school fairs, and family-focused activities to build relationships, increase visibility, and generate new student leads
Experience Required:
2+ years of proven leadership, supervisory, or assistant management experience in a customer-facing environment Strong background in customer service with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Experience managing hourly staff, shift scheduling, and team accountability in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and general computer use Ability to work weekday evenings and weekends Ability to work on your feet in a warm, humid pool environment Preferred :
