Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Store Manager to lead our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management within the automotive parts and accessories industry. The Automotive Store Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a positive shopping environment. Store Manager Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of customer service Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to meet sales goals Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and presentation Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction Conduct sales management activities including pricing strategies, promotions, and sales tracking Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures Develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and sales growth Monitor store budgets, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and inventory management Supervise shift management to ensure proper staffing levels during operating hours Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance Engage in recruiting efforts to attract qualified candidates for store positions Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized store environment Store Manager Skills Proven management experience in retail or automotive parts stores with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, POS systems, and inventory management software Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and responsibly Skilled in negotiation, marketing, merchandising, and stock management techniques Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative tasks Experience with retail sales strategies such as upselling and promotional campaigns Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Demonstrated ability in training & development as well as team management within a fast-paced environment This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership capabilities to manage a thriving automotive retail store. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
