• Centereach, NY Join One of Long Island's Fastest-Growing Automotive Teams Centereach Hyundai is seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Used Car Manager to lead and grow our pre-owned vehicle operation.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume department with strong inventory, aggressive marketing, and a dealership committed to growth. We are looking for a leader who understands inventory acquisition, merchandising, pricing strategy, reconditioning management, and maximizing profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the pre-owned vehicle department Acquire inventory through auctions, trades, direct purchases, and service drive opportunities Evaluate and appraise customer trade-ins Develop pricing strategies to maximize inventory turn and profitability Monitor market trends and adjust inventory accordingly Manage reconditioning processes to ensure vehicles are frontline-ready quickly Work closely with sales management to achieve volume and gross profit objectives Analyze inventory aging reports and implement action plans Maintain strong relationships with auction representatives and inventory sources Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer standards Train and mentor sales staff on used vehicle product knowledge and valuation techniques Qualifications Previous Used Car Manager experience

MANDATORY

Strong understanding of inventory acquisition and appraisal processes Proven track record of increasing used vehicle sales and profitability Experience with
