Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and implement sales strategies to meet business goals. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, foster a positive shopping environment, and uphold the highest standards of store presentation and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service to ensure smooth operations. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing staff aligned with company standards. Manage employee schedules, payroll processing, and shift assignments to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management including purchasing, stock replenishment, stock rotation, and shrink control to maintain optimal stock levels. Implement effective sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and utilize retail math skills to meet or exceed sales targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee exceptional shopping experiences. Conduct regular store audits focusing on merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, cleanliness, and organization. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and increase sales. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, bookkeeping entries, and budget adherence while managing store expenses. Manage and maintain all social media Requirements Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling, payroll processing, and bookkeeping. Skilled in retail math including pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, recruiting techniques & interviewing skills. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings. Organizational skills coupled with time management expertise to prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of merchandising standards, marketing tactics for retail environments, and wireless sales (if applicable). Familiarity with supervising staff in a retail or grocery store setting; assistant manager experience is advantageous.
