Liquor Store Assistant StoreManager

Assistant Store Manager - Full Time Frewsburg Wine and Spirits Frewsburg Wine and Spirits is looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to work directly alongside the store owner and learn all aspects of operating a successful retail liquor store. We are seeking someone who takes pride in customer service, works well independently, and is ready to grow into managing day-to-day store operations. What You'll Do Open and close the store while following daily operating procedures Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product selections Operate the POS system and accurately process customer transactions Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all NYS liquor laws Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and stocking shelves Coordinate deliveries and organize incoming product shipments Work closely with ownership to learn and oversee daily store operations What We're Looking For 3+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred Prior cashier or POS system experience Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Wine and spirits knowledge is a plus, but not required — we're willing to train the right person Schedule Store hours are:

Monday-Saturday:

9:00 AM - 9:00

PM Sunday:

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM The ideal candidate will have flexible availability within store hours and can expect approximately 30 hours per week, with potential for growth.
