$65,000 annually We are seeking an experienced and sales-driven Sales Associate to join our Soho team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in ready-to-wear retail, a passion for client service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury sales environment. Profile The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of previous retail sales experience in a ready-to-wear store environment, including merchandising and stock responsibilities. Basic computer skills and the ability to operate a retail POS system are required. You are goal-oriented, energetic, and engaging, with a natural ability to build relationships and deliver an elevated customer experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to listen carefully, understand client needs, and translate those needs into sales opportunities. This role requires someone who can think quickly, maintain strong product knowledge, develop effective personal selling techniques, and stay organized while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional client service with a positive, service-focused attitude. Drive sales performance and support clienteling and data capture goals. Ensure store policies and procedures are communicated clearly and followed consistently. Maintain personal image and grooming standards that reflect the brand. Keep the selling floor neat, organized, well-stocked, and visually aligned with merchandising standards. Serve as a positive team contributor by sharing information and supporting colleagues. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks. Communicate regularly with store management regarding store progress and inventory needs. Execute cashiering duties, including returns, exchanges, and cash handling, in accordance with company procedures. Assist with stockroom operations, including shipment processing, transfers, inventory, and related paperwork. Help maintain store security and protect company assets through adherence to loss prevention procedures. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of retail sales experience, preferably in ready-to-wear or luxury apparel. Experience with merchandising, stock activities, and POS systems. Sales-driven and goal-oriented mindset. Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship-building skills. Ability to stay organized, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Comfortable working on-site in a customer-facing retail environment.
