Position Summary:

Co-management of store operation with potential to promote to Store Manager role. Responsibility to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operation including sales growth, development, customer satisfaction and safety, as well as food service. Responsible for store operation and supportive supervision of team members in absence of the store manager. Work Relationship Manager Experience Requirements:

Minimum two years' experience as a Cliff's Local Markets Assistant Manager or two years general retail management/Store Manager experience. Ability to prove exceptional customer service. Candidate may also be required to successfully complete additional certifications for this position which may include, but not limited to ServSafe or equivalent Food Service program, Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.

Major Accountabilities:

Support the Store Manager role in the direction and supervision of store staff to enhance business and comply with policy and procedure. Hiring, store training and development, motivation, counseling and retention of store personnel. Support store accounting for sales, receipts, purchases, payroll, merchandise inventory management, daily deposits and transporting deposits to the bank (must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle), fuel management, competitive surveys, inventory control, delivery management and EPA compliance. Support pricing and planogram integrity. Support Profit and Loss Management, attainment of planned performance/revenue goals and expense control. Sales, marketing and promotion execution, total customer service and mystery shop compliance.
