Job Description
Job Requirements Starting Pay Range:
$47,400 - $60,000/yr (non-exempt) Flexible Shift The Assistant Beverage Manager supports daily beverage operations by supervising staff, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation. This role assists with training, scheduling, inventory control, and communication, while partnering with the Beverage Manager to ensure smooth operations and a professional team environment. What you will do as aAssistant Beverage Manager:
Effectively manages all Beverage Supervisors and works directly with Beverage Manager to ensure all supervisors are meeting the expected standards. Will be able to properly conduct informative and professional "team talks". Will be an example for the Beverage Supervisors to follow. Takes responsibility for ensuring employees are trained/developed in beverage operations and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules. Works with the Beverage Supervisors to be ensure all staff is meeting the uniform and appearance standards. Ensures the Beverage staff receives sales slip reports in a timely manner and is trained in the process of declaring tips. Can effectively delegate tasks to Beverage Supervisors to be sure guest service expectations are being achieved. Ensures that every bar on the beverage floor including service bars are stocked with all the necessary products. Each bar is clean and visibly appealing to all guests. Makes sure that all bars are open and closed properly on time each and every day. Will oversee cleanliness of the casino floor and that it is free of empty bottles, cups, trash and dirty ashtrays. Checks inventory costs against Beverage budget. Will communicate with Beverage Inventory Coordinator and inform them of out of stock or slow moving product. Create ways to increase sales of the slow moving products to remove from inventory. Always inform the coordinator if a product is transferred from beverage to another outlet. Maintains working knowledge of F&B Operation's internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy changes. Takes responsibility for completing beverage department schedule on Virtual Roster. Will work with Beverage Manager to review all schedules before being posted. Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards are met by maintaining communication with all work areas to verify paperwork and inventory controls. Demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and always identifies repeat guests. Consistently maintains a professional and courteous demeanor. Will maintain confidentiality in communicating with other departments. Notifies Beverage Manager or Beverage Operations Manager if there is a question or concern with another department. Responsible for administrative procedures; accurately tracks and records LOAs, vacation time, early out's, call-outs and special requests. In coordination with the Beverage Manager will approve or deny paid time off requests. Checks to be sure all staff have approved clock in and clock out times each week. Will assist any beverage team member as needed to ensure we are proving superior guest service. Consistently monitors recruitment needs and interviews prospective employment candidates. Makes informed selections while making sure the Beverage Manager informed. Monitors and trains all beverage team members on TSRC alcohol compliance. Will report any situations that involve the responsible service of alcohol to the Beverage Manager and Beverage Operations Manager. Completes in writing and delivers employee performance reviews. Will also complete and issue corrective counseling when required.Who We Are:

Work Experience To be successful as a Assistant Beverage Manager, you'll need: College degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for education. Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience; preferably in a bar/beverage environment. Understands the implementation of a full service alcoholic beverage operation. Must have knowledge of spirits and specialty crafted cocktails. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding guest service skills. Above average verbal and written communication skills required. Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must possess outstanding guest service skills. Previous money handling experience with bsic math skills required. Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
